The Original Route 66 Page. Swa Frantzen's site about the Mother Road has been around a long time and is still a good place for information about America's most famous highway.

Reporters On The Road: Houston Chronicle Interactive sent two guys on the road and here's what they found. Lots of photos and tips about things to see and do along the Mother Road.
Doug McGruter's Route 66 photos. Doug took his first Mother Road trip as a kid in the early '50s. Here, in his fascinating site, are his comments about the road, most illustrated with historic photos. He also presents some very cool and rare postcards from 66's heyday. An excellent site, and fast-loading considering all the photos.

Route 66. Here's a 66 site with some decent info and okay photos. But after poking around a few mintues, we can't figure out who runs the site, other than he/she/it is with a company called HHJM, Inc. That helps a lot, right?
